Official Club Rules 2003
NAME OF THE ASSOCIATION
The association shall be called the Lodge Park Angling Association.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The Aims and Objectives of the Association shall be to develop and maintain Lodge Pool, its
surroundings and to promote general piscatorial and social activities.
MEMBERSHIP
All persons residing in the Redditch and surrounding areas shall be eligible for Membership of
L.P.A.A. under the following conditions:
a. Persons over the age of (18) eighteen are eligible for Membership of the L.P.A.A.
provided they become members of the Lodge Park Residents Association. Persons
aged between (16) sixteen and (18) eighteen shall also be eligible providing that on
there eighteenth birthday they join the L.P.R.A.
b. Persons under (16) sixteen with a family member who is a full member of the L.P.R.A.
are eligible for Junior Membership of the L.P.A.A. Under(10) must be accompanied
by an adult at all times.
The number of persons eligible for Membership shall be at the discretion of the committee but
with a maximum of 200 paying senior members.
All Members shall be required to put in maintenance work on Association Waters and Embankments.
New Members shall not be accepted until after the third Sunday in May.
JOINING FEE
A joining fee for new Members shall be required. (Not applicable to Junior Members)
SUBSCRIPTIONS
THE SUBSCRIPTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED ANNUALLY. THE AMOUNT TO BE PAID IN
FULL DURING THE PERIOD 28 DAYS TO THE 1st JUNE, AFTER WHICH MEMBERSHIP
SHALL BE DEEMED LAPSED.
OFFICERS AND COMMITTEE
The officers shall consist of a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and Match Secretary.
The committee shall consist of 2 Bailiffs, a Permit Allocator and 4 other persons.
To ensure continuity of the Committee the Chairman shall be elected for (2) two years. the
Secretary, Treasurer, and Match Secretary shall be elected for (3) three years with one position
becoming vacant each year. (in order Match Secretary, Treasurer then Secretary). All other
Committee Members shall be elected for (1) one year.
All Officers and Committee must be participating anglers of the Association.
50% of the Club Officers must reside on Lodge Park Estate and have been a Committee
Member for a minimum of (2) two years.
All Committee Members shall receive free Membership providing they complete their full term.
The existing Committee being empowered to co-opt new Members.
MEETINGS
The Annual General Meeting shall be held as soon as possible after 15th March every year.
Committee Meetings will be held on the 1st Sunday of every month.
Any member having a complaint to bring before the Committee shall specify same in writing
to the Secretary. who will call a meeting within(7)seven days of receipt of same where possible.
Extraordinary General Meetings shall be called at the request of not less than 10% of the fully
paid-up Members.
Members shall be kept acquainted as far as possible with the work of the Angling Association
by means of the Annual Report, Press Notices and the Official Notice Board.
AUDITORS
The L.P.A.A. Tresurer shall audit the Accounts of the Angling Association annually and (1) one
Association Member elected at the Annual General Meeting.
ALTERATION TO RULES
No Rules, except Rules for angling in Association Waters shall be altered or rescinded
except by the Annual General Meeting.
