                                     RULES FOR ANGLING IN ASSOCIATION WATERS

     1. Each Member shall require a current Environment Agency rod Licence.

     2. The use of Gaff Hooks on Lodge Pool shall not be permitted and all fish shall be

         returned to the water.

     3. No live baiting. Fishing by Members shall not be permitted in any other manner than

     with rod and line and with a landing net for securing fish when hooked.

     4. No Member shall transfer his/her card for illicit fishing.

     5. All Members must be able to produce their Permits when using the Association

     Waters and have the right to challenge any other person fishing to produce theirs.

     6. The Committee have the power to request any undesirable Member to retire without

     redress. The decision of the Committee being final.

     7. Any Member found leaving litter, interfering with Game, causing damage to the

     embankment, trees or any plant life, or infringing any rules of the Association shall

     be liable for expulsion from the Angling Association.

     8. Fishing is not permitted between accommodated fishing stations.

     9. When in use, a keep-net and landing net must conform to the prevailing L.P.A.A.

     regulations.

     10. Members should take extreme care when hooking, landing and weighting fish.

     11. Pollution, or fish in distress should be reported to the pool bailiffs.

     12. Anglers are only allowed to use (1) one rod at any time on Lodge Pool.

     13. Junior Section - Restrictions as follows: Will only be allowed to fish between the

     dates 16th June - 30th September, from the hours of 9.30a.m. To 6.00p.m. daily unless

     accompanied by an adult Member of L.P.A.A. who will be responsible for the juniors

     behaviour.

     14. The use of keep nets is not allowed between the hours of 12.00 noon and 1.00p.m.

     and all fish must be returned.

     15. No hard seed, nut kernel, boilies, loose feed trout pellets (sinkable carp pellets may be

     used), bloodworm or joker are allowed on L.P.A.A. Waters.

     16. Hooks no larger than (10) ten barbless may be used on Lodge Pool.

     17. No surplus baits to be deposited in the pool on completion of the fishing session.

     18. Surface fishing is allowed on Lodge Pool but with bread as the only hook bait and

     loose fed bait.

     19. Minimum size keep nets used shall be 2.5 metres by 450cm (8ft x 18").

     20. No tins or drink cans to be taken to the water.

     21. No carp shall be retained in keep nets between 1st June and 1st September except

     during bonafide matches.

     22. Braided line is banned on Lodge Pool.

     23. All feeder methods are allowed providing there is no resistance between feeder and

     the reel.

     24. Free-lining is allowed on Lodge Park Pool.

     25. All fish should be transferred to the top (2) two rings of the keep net whilst in the

     water before removing it from the water.

     26. Anyone caught using barbed hooks will be banned for the remainder of the season

     plus (1) one additional full season.
